Carlota Rocchi

is a jazz/soul vocalist & songwriter based in London, UK. She was born in Porto, Portugal and has just graduated from a vocals degree in Popular Music Performance in London.

Carlota demonstrated a passion for music at an early age, thus leading her to start taking piano lessons at the age of 9.

Later on, she began taking private music theory lessons at the age of 13 with guitarist, composer and music educator Sandro Norton and private singing lessons with Brazilian singer & performer Claudia Fier.

Over the next few years, Carlota would perform at several venues across Porto and the UK, including Tribeca Jazz Club and Constantino Nery auditorium (Porto), The O2 Forum and The O2 Academy (London).and O2 Forum in Kentish Town (London).

At just 17 years old, she moved to London with the aim of improving her skills and knowledge in singing & composing and to dedicate her time in building a career un music.

On her last year of university, Carlota - along with vocal group Vocalities - were chosen to perform at the brand new TV Show ‘Pitch Battle’ which premiered on BBC One in June 2017.

She is currently writing new material and working on a number of projects which will be announced in the near future.
